We are no longer accepting travel trailers for the 2025 rental season. We can still offer you storage and repair work if needed.
What makes High Alpine Rentals unique, is that we want to give back to our community. Other than the National Park Tree Planting Program and other charities we are involved with, we wanted to give back financially to our fellow RV owners. We decided to financially give back to fellow RV owners by starting an RV Rental Consignment Program. We have given the RV owner the highest payout in the state, and services that you just simply won't find anywhere else. Our team has years of experience with supply chain management, handling and transporting millions of dollars' worth of equipment for the U.S Government within the United States and around the world.
The RV consignment program is when someone owns a 2022 or newer RV and wishes to earn up to 15K extra a year by handing the RV over to our team to set up a RV rental unit in our fleet. Our team manages the RV sort of like a property management team, but with your RV. Our team manages the storage of the RV, clients & appointments, damage deposits, rental agreements, maintenance, legalities, winterization, commercial insurance on the RV, full white glove service. The RV owner can use their RV as well during the consignment.
Your RV will be rented out to tourist visiting our state, to large scale events such as movie production teams, and to folks who are simply just wanting to get away for the weekend. We scan & vet all renters to ensure your RV is taken care. If we wouldn't rent our personal RVs to the client, we do the same for your RV. Your RV can be trusted with us.
Owning an RV and listing it as an RV Rental consignment has awesome perks! Offsetting the costs of RV ownership, you may qualify for substantial tax benefits including depreciation, claiming business expenses, and even accelerated depreciation. Be sure to consult with your Tax Advisor about section 179 deductions.
Whether you just don't use your RV enough to justify owning it, are tired of it just sitting in storage, or the costs of ownership have become burdensome, we have the ability to generate you additional income to offset, or in many cases to completely cover the costs of ownership.
Many owners are worried about the upkeep up their RV during the consignment with High Alpine Rentals, as RV owners ourselves we totally understand! We conduct extensive screening on each renter, conduct training with each renter, enforce strict policies, and ensure each RV is kept immaculately cleaned with photos taken before and after each renter. No RV leaves our facility without insurance coverage and all paperwork completed correctly.
WE HAVE A ZERO TOLERANCE POLICY FOR SMOKING in our RVs. Renters agree to the no smoking policy in writing. If an RV is found to have been smoked in, or has a smell of smoke, then the renter is charged $1,000 for cleaning and deodorizing the unit.
We are RV owners ourselves and understand that we want to use our RVs to enjoy all the National Parks and spend time with family. We ensure that you get to still use your RV. Just give us a few days heads-up!
When you pick up your coach, it will be perfectly clean and full of fuel, water and propane. We’ll start the refrigerator and water heater for you and check the appliances, generator, etc. All we ask is that you return it in the same condition – full of fuel, propane and cleaned with all holding tanks emptied so that it’s ready to go out on the next rental.
A perk of doing our consignment program is that we have a in-house and mobile repair shop . This allows us to always stay on top of maintenance and upkeep of your RV. Our clients are paying for an experience that should be stress free, so we ensure we give that to them! Records are kept on each RV for owners sake as well.
We have a team that is available to transport your RV from your residence back to our facility in Colorado Springs. We will need to talk on the phone to discuss the rates etc.
ONLY the renter and persons designated at the time the reservation is taken can drive . Each designated driver must be at least 25 years. The renter understands that they’re the responsible party and will be charged for any damage or repairs due to negligence caused by them or any other designated drivers.
Our rental season in Colorado usually runs from Mid-March to November 1st. We essentially close down once the temps drop below freezing. During our off-season months, we will entertain rentals if the rental is heading to warmer climates.
